An exquisite selection of the finest organic arabica and organic robusta beans gives this Copuro organic whole bean espresso its unique, refined note – completed with the fine crema of a typical Italian espresso that unfolds its full complexity both as a single shot espresso and in a cappuccino.
The blend from Peru, India and Uganda is suitable for every beverage preparation in the portafilter espresso machine, in the fully automatic coffee machine or in the mocha pot. Ideally suited for the typical Italian espresso up to mixed milk drinks such as latte macchiato, cappuccino, flat white or even caffé latte.
For the Copuro organic whole bean espresso we combine three tasty coffees that complement each other full-bodied and result in a dark roasted nut with a light smoke aroma. The taste has little acidity / fruit, a malty sweetness and light delicate bitter notes in the finish.
Traditional, gentle long-term roasting.
Our certified organic coffee is roasted climate-neutral , slowly and not too hot in Germany’s oldest organic coffee roastery – including preheating for up to 16 minutes at a maximum of 230 degrees Celsius. The long, gentle roasting time in the drum roaster breaks down unpleasant acids and the almost 800 aromas that lie dormant in a coffee bean are perfectly balanced. This is what makes our coffee so digestible and you can taste it in every cup. The Copuro Bio Espresso is vigorously roasted , right to the point where the complex flavours emerge of the green coffee to develop optimally and at the same time perfectly balanced.
A careful harvest is crucial for the quality of the coffee. That is why we only use fair & directly traded, hand-picked coffee beans for our certified organic coffees , which have been grown in the highlands according to the guidelines of organic farming. The organic farming is therefore very important to us, because these traditional cultivation makes use of not only the stability of natural ecosystems and promotes, but also on mineral nitrogen fertilizers and synthetic chemical pesticides and fertilizers waived. As a result, the biological diversity in the coffee-growing regions is preserved and the coffee cherries can slowly grow under optimal climatic conditions develop characteristic aromas .
